Very interesting. Kind of an odd map projection though, which made me
wonder about viewing the numbers in a slightly different way.

What if polution production wasn't compared based on CO2 per capita,
but rather CO2 per square mile of forest? For instance, Germany
produces CO2 at about 1/8 the rate of the US - but what is their forested
land area (e.g. ability to process and neutralize the CO2) (I don't
know - anyone?) Just a thought.

Is it bad that I found the birth rates more depressing than the death rates?
