Totally. By the time WOPR got up to speed, the MCP would already be in control. The WOPR would become just another tool in the MCP's move toward total domination.

He could then nuke EnCom, and no pesky Tron to cause problems, and Jeff Bridges would be stuck forever, and Bruce Boxleitner and Peter Jurasik would be stuck racing lightcycles and churning databases forever, and Babylon 5 would NEVER BE MADE!!!

Oh the humanity. Or the, uh, programmity. Or something like that.

...hopefully that will be more amusing to the people who didn't have to see it, like, three times, with strange errors in each previous version. And WHY LJ decided I wasn't logged in halfway through this process I may never know, but damn, that was annoying.
