Buh? The Farrellys turned Fever Pitch into a baseball movie?

(What next, transporting High Fidelity to Chicago or something?)

It's the same kind of dry British wit that they _tried_ to duplicate by making an american version of 'The Office'. Ugh.

Don't mind me. Just making your very true statement true for a broader range of truth. :)

I assume you're referring to the 1997 Nick Horby entry?

Yep; it's based on a very good book, one that I really can't imagine being done about any sport other than football(=soccer).

Especially 'cos of the whole "ruining the 'pitch' joke" part. Baseball == not played on a pitch == not really funny as "fever pitch". Grrr.

We do not acknowledge the existance of this movie. They invaded and sullied the moment that the Sox won the World Series for the first time in 86 years. Bastards.
