|05:52 pm - Well, that was quick.|
I have officially reached the "sick to death of Christmas music" point for this year.
Did you go to the mall or something? I've heard remarkably little Christmas music, thank god.

I work across the street from the mall. And because of this, and because I am a lazy sod, I get lunch there more often than I should. And lunch today – and for the next five weeks or so, I'm guessing – comes with awful canned Christmas music, for no extra charge (whee!). :-)

I made it through half a song, but yeah, it was more or less at the moment of recognition: "Wait a minute, I recognise this; this is... is... *grrrrrr*."
P.S. Speaking of festive spirit, I have a Cthulhu for you; with luck, maybe I'll get to see you and kviri
and drop Him off before the great Angstgiving disappearance.

/me mumbles... ilikechristmasmusic
me too. I just don't like it in October.
Agreed. Although the muzak drap they play in malls can drive anyone to hate Christmas music, as can raipd reply of the same. song. over. and. over.
Damnit, now I have to go home and listen to Sarah MacLaughlin and Barenaked Ladies....
muzak is awful... but in general, I do like Christmas music... As long as it's after Thanksgiving.

I like the Anglican choir singing in Westminster Abbey on Christmas Eve, with the friggin' huge pipe organ and the beautiful acoustics. That's about it.
Obviously you need to (meet and?) spend some time with lionstar
. She can make the grinchiest grinch love the season.
That would be quite interesting to watch. I vote we set this up, and let the battle begin!
(Of course, trystero
is toast, because lionstar
is teh ky00t [assuming I'm remembering the correct person from shu_al
You are, and you're onto something.
Now, for a pretense... ;)

Dude, the hotel I'm staying it in mainland China is decked out with Christmas decorations and the hostesses were wearing christmasy outfits this morning. It was very wacky...
Hmmm...I haven't heard any Christmas music yet, but I think that is because I never get out any more.
Personally, I'm surprised to find out that there are points of the year that you apparently consider yourself NOT sick of Christmas music.
