10:23 pm - "The Man Who Sold the World"
...appears to be the most-covered song in my music collection: in addition to the 1970 David Bowie original version, I have covers by Lulu (1974), John Cougar Mellencamp (!) (1977), Midge Ure (1982), and the live version by Nirvana (1994).

John Cougar Mellencamp, mind you. Not John Mellencamp, not Johnny Cougar.  :-)

"All along the Watchtower"

Dylan's "All along the Watchtower" seems to be what I have the most of. Strangely I don't have the original Dylan version. Then again, perhaps not that strange at all considering I don't really like him that much. I have Jimmy Hendrix, U2, Micheal Hedges, Indigo Girls, and Jeff Healey.

Apparently there is also a John Mellencamp version too :)

There's also a rather jerky/hiccup-y 1978 version of "All Along the Watchtower" by XTC, which is one of my favourite things. And no, I don't own the Dylan version either.  :-)
