Funny, webbob sent me the link to the youtube version of this (and Roxanne and Creep, his personal favorite) last month...
So very wrong.

I dare you to run Rougan's vocal track for "Cold" through that thing.
I double dog dare you.
If I had a copy of the isolated vocal track, I would, even without being double-dog dared. :-)
But I don't. Maybe we can extract it via one of those karaoke vocal-isolation programs? Or failing that, I think gweepprefect
might have the multi-track recordings somewhere...

Dude, find out if he does. This is a moral imperative.
You could use a karaoke vocal-isolation program if you had to, but wouldn't that degrade and corrupt the vocal track? ...oh. Wait. Never mind. ;)
If nothing else, we could figure out what key he was singing in.
Hm. I have some Canister vocal tracks on CD somewhere, but I don't think all the way back to Cold...
That's right, and you've reminded me: "Cold" was actually recorded live to 2-track (in the basement of Alden Hall), so there won't be an isolated vocal track, or indeed an isolated anything track. (Which may be a good thing.)

For what it's worth, the author of those has done a few more that didn't make it into the article. This
is hilarious and wrong. :)
Also, this version
is better ("better" :) than the one included in the article.
I... wha... oh, my head... oh, my god, what the?... oh, my head.
