03:37 pm - Just call me ESPN...
From a BBC article:
Americans are increasingly turning to the world of popular culture to name their children, a study has found.

Children have been named after big brands as diverse as beauty company L'Oreal, car firm Chevrolet and designer clothes company Armani.

There are even two little boys, one in Michigan and one in Texas, called ESPN after the sports channel.

In retrospect, “Douglas” (“black/bloody water”) and “Scott” (“Scot”) don't seem like such terrible names after all…

My Mum is always talking about this... check out http://www.ssa.gov/OACT/babynames/ (she's posted it to GweepNet a few times)- Trinity is pretty popular now, thanks to the Matrix!

I have a cousin who taught in Baltimore- she had a student named Takeatoke (pronounced take-a-toke) and another named LemonJello (pronounced li-MON-ja-lo, not LEM-en-jel-o).

I am, of course, named after the guy who publishes O'Reilly books!
