|05:27 pm - Seriously, rain. Go away.|
*sigh*... another week, another downpour, another state of emergency. Guess I'll find out whether my new sump pump works when I get home today.
Hope everyone else is staying dry...

I'm on my 4th umbrella of the season....
If you need me
I'll be downstairs
With the Shop-Vac
You can call but I prob'ly won't hear you
Because it's loud with the Shop-Vac on
Indeed, I suspected as much. It has so much resonance, under the circumstances...
Anyway, crossed fingers for all my peeps in the vicinity of the soon-to-be-Lost City of Boston. I find myself, for the first time... well... ever... vaguely grateful that I no longer live a block from a flood-control dam on the Charles. I bet the old neighborhood is a bit... lively... just now. I hope nothing bad has happened to the World Wide Building.
When did we all move to Seattle? Geez.

I'm going to suggest that it's all part of an overall weather shift this year. The South gets New England winter. New England gets Seattle rains. Who the hell knows what Seattle gets from where, maybe the South's warm temperatures. Climate change in action! All ovah you screen!
Fingers are crossed for you. We are very thankful to still be dry up here.
