This is all lizzielizzie's fault.

• AEROSMITH — "Walk This Way" (with Run-DMC)
• AC/DC — "You Shook Me All Night Long"
BON JOVI — uh, the Young Guns II cowboy/steel horse one. ("Dead Or Alive", is it?)
• R.E.M. — "Fall On Me"
• U2 — "A Sort of Homecoming"
• DURAN DURAN — "A View to a Kill"
• BILLY JOEL — "It's Still Rock 'n' Roll to Me"
• ELTON JOHN — "Rocket Man"
ABBA — "Dancing Queen"
• KISS — "Black Diamond" (though I've never heard their version, just the Replacements cover)
• QUEEN — "Somebody to Love"
• JOHN MELLENCAMP — "R.O.C.K. in the U.S.A." (except it's by John Cougar Mellencamp, thank you very much)
• MEAT LOAF — "Paradise by the Dashboard Light"
• GEORGE MICHAEL — "Freedom 90"
10,000 MANIACS — "These Days" (though I've never heard it)
• SARAH McLACHLAN — "When She Loved Me" (the one from Toy Story 2)
• DEPECHE MODE — "Just Can't Get Enough" (bip, bip, bip-bip bip-bip bip bip)
• PINK FLOYD — "Shine On You Crazy Diamond"
• LED ZEPPELIN — "Immigrant Song"
• BARENAKED LADIES — Honestly, I couldn't name a Barenaked Ladies song if you held a gun to my head.

Italic means this is the only song title I know by this artist.
Boldface means I still hate this song, "favourite" being a relative term and all. :-)

Deleted Barry Manilow, added Pink Floyd.

You like "Walk this way"!! Sweet! I rarely find anyone who admits to that [grin]

and the Young Guns song was "Blaze of Glory", (I think?)

I like a few other Aerosmith songs, but "Walk This Way" is the only one I have on my playlist: it's just so damned '80s. :-)

And I think "Blaze of Glory" might have been the Bon Jovi song from Young Guns, but I'm thinking of a different song, with the lines "I'm a cowboy/On a steel horse I ride" in the chorus. I thought it was from Young Guns II, but I could very easily be wrong. (And frankly, I don't much care: "favourite", in this case, means "less unbearable than 'Living on a Prayer'".)
