News McNuggets USA Today has a survey/poll on their site asking whether or not the US should pass a constitutional amendment to deny marriage rights to homosexuals.

At time of writing, with 411,447 votes counted, I originally thought the voting was ~84% in favour of such an amendment. But lizzielizzie pointed out that I read the results backwards, and that it was actually ~84% against such an amendment, which is a bit more comforting.

Quite right. My mistake: that's what I get for assuming the answers would be presented in the same order as the options on the poll.

Glad to be wrong, though. :-)
