French officials confirmed that they've finally found the wreckage of Antoine de Saint-Exupery's airplane, the location of which has been unknown since Saint-Exupery (author of The Little Prince) disappeared on a flight in 1944.

They didn't find Saint-Exupery's body, though, which is sort of comforting: I maintain that he and Amelia Earhart are living together on an island somewhere, and I'm glad not to have been proven wrong yet. :-)

Wow. That's cool. I'm about halfway through Airman's Odyssey, the omnibus edition of Night Flight, Wind, Sand and Stars, and Flight to Arras. Saint-Ex is something of a hero of mine, though I have to confess that when I was small, I found The Little Prince rather disturbing.
