10:35 am - Good grief! Fantagraphics Books is publishing a complete hardcover set of Peanuts strips. Each volume will cover two years' worth of material, and they're publishing them at the rate of two volumes per year... so it'll only take them twelve-and-a-half years to finish off Charles Schulz's half-century worth of strips.
I admire the principle and Fantagraphics' dedication, but... I think maybe I'll wait until the set is finished (in October 2016) before I consider buying any of the volumes. Too easy to be left hanging.

Me, I just want to wait for the boxed collectors set at the end :) Maybe, but who else is going to reprint the really really early stuff? Schulz never thought anyone would really like it, so he never had it done himself. If nothing else, volume 1 of the new complete edition is worthwhile for that. Plus, whether they finish the set or not, they're lovely volumes.
