The University of Michigan has a site with more information about cicadas than you ever knew you wanted, including MP3 files of the calls of the various cicada species and maps of the distributions of the various broods. According to their data, we in MA won't see cicadas until 2008 (brood XIV), and even then only down in the Cape Cod region.

(I also liked this National Geographic article about the difficulties of outdoor weddings in cicada regions/seasons. As if people planning weddings didn't have enough on their plates already...)
