Oh, and before I forget: two more gems from the papers here:

(1) A story about the late great John Peel includes a rather sad anecdote of his: "At my primary school – and bearing in mind that my name is John – the headmistress wrote, 'Robin has failed to make much impression this term.'"

(2) The Sunday Times is generally worthless, but one article in this morning's edition did have a nice little turn of phrase on the subject of Donald Rumsfeld: "[Expecting] Rumsfeld to admit that he is wrong is a little like expecting George Bush to become pregnant."
